I was going through the support forums for this one (as I have done with like the other three, they are starting to get mixed up in my head lol) and I found a thread about some sort of trojan virus that goes through forums.

What it does is it will ask you if you want to download something. If you ever see this dont download it! Because it will give your pc a virus. I was reading that this has happend on multiple forums and its something new.

If you do get this post here with time and what you were doing, but dont download anything!

Hopefully it wont happen here, just want to make you all aware.

ADDL info: It will sometimes try to download itself...if you see this happen CLOSE ALL WINDOWS immediately We have had this happen 3 or 4 times on Loki's Computer and each time rendered a 1.5 hour phone call with Microsoft Tech Support...they fixed the problem and couldn't have been more helpful, but seems nothing prevents it from coming back

Nothing to worry about if you just keep an eye on what you are doing and be aware that this stuff happens.

I use Avast! to and it shuts stuff like that down fast. BTW guys avast is free, and I chucked out my McAffee years ago for it. You just have to reregister like once a year and its awesome.

I dont have avast. Where can I get it?

I am a huge fan of avg free. Its free, you get it from download.com and it protects against keyloggers. Its the only one out there that I have found that really gets rid of keyloggers since they are not actually a virus.

Alright guys. My computer is yet again infected with Antivirus 2009 and i hate to say this but I have a feeling I am getting it from this site. I need any and all ideas on how to stop this once and for all. Free downloadable programs would be appreciated. I hate trojan viruses so much.

Yes I used to use AVG and kept getting viruses, then my hacker friend told me Avast! was one of the best free ones to get. I never get Viruses any more and if any try to get in the alarm goes off and i shut it right down.
